While I am still in my early twenties, and do have a date on Halloween night (thank you sweet husband), tonight we’re laying low at home. This does not mean, however, we are going to be lazy and eat far too much candy… I think.
We are relatively close to my parent’s house and they happen to have prime real-estate for Halloween festivities on the East side of town – A.K.A. the ghetto-fied side. Tonight will be as usual a spooktacular parade of hundreds of ghosts, princesses, great purple balloon grapes and other characters as they file past our porch.
Despite not having a great costume this year – we’re talking pizza delivery girl from the delicious Wheat State Pizza (just bringing home dinner) – I did bring to the table a little frightful cheer…
Don’t laugh at me for this, or if you do, don’t let me hear it – I started this adorable halloween wall hanging in High School! So it’s been a long time coming that I wanted to enjoy this sweet pattern on Halloween evening.
If you’re interested in creating your own, perhaps for Christmas, you can find the pattern at my mother’s store: Charlotte’s Sew Natural. The pattern sells for $14.00 and I just added it to the online store. So either stop in and say hi to everyone or go online here: http://store.sewnatural.net/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=79551029176167955&Store_id=269&page_id=23&Item_ID=33991
If you come across any other cute Halloween projects, be sure to leave a comment with a link or even a picture! It’s never too early to start a holiday project.
