  • How did you get started sewing? It started when I was in high school and decided to make my own clothes. I majored in Costume Design in college, did a brief stint working in Santa Fe (even made custom items for Georgia O'Keeffe!), then ended up in central Kansas when I got married. The rest is history!

  • How did you start sewing? Growing up with Mom I literally grew up in her fabric store. I've enjoyed embroidery, quilting & beading ever since!

  • What do you enjoy about working here? The creativity people come up with boggles my mind! I like how 2 people can take 1 piece of material and come up with 2 completely different projects.

  • How did you start sewing? On my grandmother's old treadle sewing machine. My mother wanted me out of her hair so I was free to do whatever I wanted (she said laughing).
